Komal Sinha – Empowering waste workers

Komal Sinha is the Global Head of Partnerships at rePurpose Global, an award-winning social enterprise building a global community of consumers, workplaces and brands going #PlasticNeutral by empowering waste workers in some of the poorest communities worldwide.

At rePurpose, Komal leads strategy setting, business and product development, strategic client relations and media partnerships for the company.

“With over 13 years of experience in the fields of climate change and sustainability, I have been associated with the carbon market from its formative days, working on design, delivery, reporting and communication of carbon finance-based projects, that deliver emission reductions and community impacts simultaneously. 

Komal brings this very experience into her present role, shaping the emerging and promising plastic neutrality sector, through innovative programs that help corporates and individuals take responsibility for their plastic waste whilst improving the lives of waste workers in the plastic value chain.
